Sierra Pathways is committed to transforming lives through compassionate, evidence-based behavioral healthcare for Transitional Age Youth (TAY) aged 16-25. Our mission is to empower young people struggling with mental health challenges and co-occurring substance use disorders by providing integrated, person-centered treatment that fosters long-term recovery, self-sufficiency, and well-being.
Who We Are
Sierra Pathways is located in Lake County, CA and is led by Dr. Brooke H. Brody, PhD, LCSW, a dedicated mental health professional with over two decades of experience in trauma-informed care, dual-diagnosis treatment, and program development. Our team of licensed clinicians, counselors, and peer support specialists is passionate about helping youth overcome obstacles and build healthier futures.
What We Do
We offer two comprehensive programs designed to provide structured support for young adults:
Day Treatment Intensive (DTI) Half-Day Program: A structured outpatient program for youth with primary mental health diagnoses, integrating evidence-based therapies such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and The Seven Challenges Model to address co-occurring substance use disorders.
Adult Residential Facility (ARF): An 8-bed supportive living environment for young adults (18-25) with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, offering 24/7 care, life skills training, and enrollment in the DTI program.
Why Sierra Pathways?
Integrated Care Approach: We treat both mental health and substance use disorders together, leading to better recovery outcomes and lower relapse rates.
Evidence-Based Treatment: Our programs incorporate proven models like DBT, The Seven Challenges, and Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) to support sustained healing.
Community & Cultural Engagement: We collaborate with Lake County Behavioral Health Services, Tribal Health organizations, and local recovery groups to create a strong support network.
Holistic Recovery Support: From therapy and psychoeducation to vocational coaching and life skills training, we equip young people with the tools they need to thrive beyond treatment.
Our Vision
We believe in breaking the cycle of addiction and mental health struggles by offering high-quality, accessible care in a supportive and structured environment. Our goal is to create a pathway to stability, independence, and lifelong success for every young person we serve.
